Two Xs Toonie Thursday
The Second Thursday of each month, Freckles Quilt Shop will present a quilt block that will sell for $4. The proceeds of this program will be donated to a number of different schools in the greater Calgary area. These funds will be used to provide meals for those students who are not in a position to have a meal every day.
The blocks will only be available on the second Thursday of the month and you may purchase as few as one or as many as you wish. Once they are gone for the month, they are gone. The quilt block selection will remain the same for the year but the colourway will change each month.
What a great way to help someone else while making a fabulous quilt at the same time.
